Jenn Mason
Producer
Jenn Mason is an award winning producer with 16 years of hands-on experience in both the corporate and not-for-profit worlds. She has a passion for community driven stories, especially those profiling the queer community and works to change the face of media produced, both in front of and behind the camera.
Having begun her career at MAC Cosmetics where she managed the International Retail and Special Event Department, she made her foray into film in 2013. Since then she has produced a huge variety of projects including the multiple award winning short film Stop Calling Me Honey Bunny and the feature length documentary Doing Jewish: A Story from Ghana which debuted with a Canadian television broadcast in May of 2016. Among her credits are three web series produced for the CBC – the award winning Queer (Self) Portraits (2017) and the CSA Winning The 2019 Canadian Improv Games with Andrew Phung (2019) and CBX: A Canadian Ballroom Extravaganza (2022). Supporting Our Selves is her second feature documentary project.
