Philip Kocev
Executive Producer
Philip Kocev is a business and community leader based in Toronto, Ontario. He actively supports 2SLGBTQ+ community organizations including Inside Out 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival, the 519, and Rainbow Railroad, and is currently Treasurer of The Broadview Danforth BIA Board where he advocates for small businesses in Toronto. Philip is a Managing Partner at iPro Realty, the GTA’s 2nd largest independent real estate brokerage, who he has been with since 2009. He is a graduate of York University with an Honours in Human Resources Management, and was previously with professional services firm Deloitte, working with Global clients in their HR Transformation practice. His personal interests include the love of travel with his partner Andrew and a passion for the arts. Philip has a performance certificate in Speech and Drama from Trinity College, London England and as a youth, participated in many areas of theatre and film production including, acting, writing, editing, camera operation and directing. Philip and Andrew were associate producers on Fawzia Mirza’s CBC short film NOOR & LAYLA, which has screened at 50+ film festivals around the globe. Philip is also developing unscripted content around the housing crisis, in particularly bringing awareness to ‘the missing middle’ in Toronto real estate, working with local filmmakers to document an ongoing development project and shed light on the issue.
